Summary
This project examines the economic and criminal justice impacts of Prop 64 on the South Bay region of LA County. The county is a low income area heavily affected by criminal activity linked to illegal drugs. The study aims to use this specific area of the county to see how legalization has impacted who owns the cannabis businesses, how regulations have changed in the area, and how social justice movements can best assist the area.
