Summary

This project evaluates the public-health effects of adult-use cannabis legalization in California across demographic groups and geographic regions. The research combines population surveys, quantitative analyses, and interviews with subject-matter experts to examine cannabis-use patterns, medicinal and recreational use, knowledge and attitudes, access to reliable health information, and perceived effects of Proposition 64. The findings are intended to support public-health surveillance, education, and policy refinement.
