Summary

This project examines how California’s evolving cannabis policy environment affects cannabis consumption and its relationship with tobacco use, taking advantage of substantial variation in local cannabis regulations across the state. The research seeks to determine whether more restrictive local policies are associated with lower cannabis and tobacco use, different modes of consumption, and less co-use of the two substances.
